Adversarial pre-submission review across multiple reviewer archetypes.

Overview

Stress-test a manuscript by reading it as Reviewer 2 would. The skill rotates through five reviewer archetypes (the Methodologist, the Theorist, the Generalist, the Skeptic, the Pedant) and surfaces the weaknesses, alternative explanations, and evidence gaps an actual reviewer will probably raise. It returns prioritized concerns with severity ratings and suggested preemptive responses, separating fatal flaws from issues you can address in revision.

When to use

• Pressure-testing a draft before submission to a top-tier journal
• Identifying which reviewer concerns are submit-blocking versus addressable in revision
• Anticipating Reviewer 2 attacks during a major-revision response cycle
• Getting an adversarial second opinion on a coauthor's contribution claim
